On weekday nights for the past few months, I was a captive audience to a Korean drama spanning over a 100 episodes. Long story short, a guy has to sort his shit out between his ex-wife (real scheming biatch, this one), his son and his girlfriend whom his son calls 'mom'. The adults were constantly lying to the child and the older folks between three families were arguing with one another. The situations were often portrayed in an exaggerated manner (in the vein of those 1000 episode Hokkien dramas) and some scenes seem to go on and on and on. Wah lau eh, faintz man.
My first new comic in conjunction with the launch of my Facebook page. Many years back, a friend told me a joke which will probably stick in my head for the rest of my life. I've adapted it for this Korean drama parody. Have fun! ;-)
Guy: This time I am prepared. I musn't cower. Steady lad...
Guy: Steady...
Guy: (Croons 'Rose, Rose, I Love You' but replaces the word 'Rose' with 'Ghost') Girl: Aiyo, I'm unprepared for this. Character at the bottom right: The End?
Girl: My chauffeur is here. Where shall we gallivant? Guy: I think we should just go for a walk instead, hehe. Character in circle: The End.
